The time to hesitate is through…no time to wallow in the mire…

Indeed, the days of anticipation are over, and today my film geekery will shift into hyperdrive. Eleven days, at least twenty films, from eight different countries, soaked in at six different theatres around town.

One last thing I wanted to mention before I head out to get things started with LEGEND OF THE FIST this evening. I intend to do a post for every single film I see – and probably very shortly after I see them – however they won’t be the full on DOTM reviews you’ve become accustomed to. In fact they won’t be reviews at all – they’ll be reactions.

Interestingly, Peter from /Film tapped into my feelings in a post of his own yesterday, but to summarize, I like to stew on my thoughts a little longer than a film festival allows. So for now please indulge in reactions – and here’s when you can expect posts on some of the big showings…
