As I wander around this country, it’s crazy to imagine even a bit of it laid to ruin during WWII. I know I need to check my privilege and all…but with it being my first trip to “The Old World”…the history of it all, especially the modern history, isn’t lost on me.

Gotta watch this Rossellini classic properly right soon…
