Many moons ago, before Mads Mikklesen and Hugh Dancy started their short-lived TV bromance, Hannibal Lecter returned to bookstores and multiplexes. The book and film were almost universally panned…but I found myself digging both.

Now in light of the NBC show, the Ridley Scott film has found something of a new life…but only something of a new life. The book/movie even became the thrust for the first part of the TV show’s final season.

So as I look around this city the good doctor fled to, enjoy this exchange and operatic ambiance…
