Ryan McNeilAt TIFF 2014, I saw two different Adam Sandler movies, and neither one of them went on to set the world on fire. Funny thing though; of all the problems in these two movies – and there were plenty – Sandler was never one of them. If anything, it seemed like Sandler was trying something different and being let down by decisions well outside of the ones he was making.
So what’s on-tap when Sandler returns to the big screen this summer? Will he lay another egg with his movie filmed in city-mine? Or might he possibly shake off his losing streak…

When I was putting the tags on this post, only then did I realize this was a Chris Columbus movie. He’s been on a long losing streak for me, so if this is as awesome as it seems, it might feel like The Washington Generals finally winning one…
