Elsewhere – Talkin’ SPRING BREAKERS on Outside The Envelope

It’s been quite a while since I did a guest turn on someone else’s podcast. Such a long while that I actually forgot how much fun it can be! Thankfully, just one week after Brian J. Roan dropped by The Matineecast, I was invited to return the favour and do a guest spin on Outside the Envelope.

Of course, what really made it a party was the fact that these days Brian has two co-hosts: Dan Gvozden of Grind My Reels, and Rick Sandlas who often posts on Dear Film as well. It can be a little difficult to play ringmaster to four guests who aren’t in the same room, but I’m happy to report that Brian does it with ease.

The topic at hand is Harmony Korine’s somewhat divisive new film, SPRING BREAKERS. Really, what better way could one celebrate the story of four girls’ coming of age on vacatio than by getting four dudes together to analyze it all.
