So here’s a fun fact: I usually map out who my guests will be on this podcast and what film we’ll be talking about weeks and months in advance. With that in mind, I’m happy to look down the list of upcoming episodes and see what I believe to be smooth sailing all the way into the summer.

This episode really didn’t want to seem to happen. Part of that is my own fault by choosing the tiny indie foreign film I wanted to talk about which is seemingly playing nowhere…and part of that is chalked up to fate. When fire and illness starts taking away one’s podcasting guest, the podcasting gods are trying to tell you something!

But happily, it all works out in the end thanks to a lively conversation with a very knowledgable blogger from Row Three.
