Thoughts on a Wednesday Morning
It is Wednesday morning…isn’t it? My sense of time is slowly slipping away, but I’ll be alright. That rainstorm last night got to me in a few ways. My clothes from last night still haven’t exactly dried out, and I myself and trying to fight off a bit of a cold. Again – I can’t believe I didn’t take my own advice when it came to the weather. As a wise rock band once said, I won’t get fooled again.
The part of getting caught in the dreck that had me a sweating though, was that I finally decided to bring my camera to the BODY OF WAR screening last night. Instead of bringing it in it’s camera case (which is about the size of my head), I took the body and zoom lens & threw them into my regular, non-weather-lined carry bag. Oops! Well, it worked well enough to take some photos at the screening, so without further ado…
Eddie Vedder performs a pair of songs.
…I was kinda lucky to get these, because it seems as though the Isabel Bader volunteers are a lot stickier about cameras than the other theatres I’ve been to. Go figure.
The camera thing does seem to be quite the issue but at least I’ve found in general I’ve not been bugged to put mine away during a Q&A. Usually what people say in the intro and the anti piracy thing says you can’t take a picture ‘of the film’. Someone talking up there afterwards, is not ‘the film’.
Yes – check the weather! Looks like it will be cloudy Thurs and raining Fri – yikes. I hope you stay dry!
