Ryan McNeilOnly took seven years of blog entries named after song titles to get to Was Not Was. That’s reason for celebration, right?
So it’s safe to say that it feels more than a little strange to be dusting-off a franchise that had been dormant for thirteen years (fourteen by the time this film drops). Then again, it’s equally strange to see the keys top this franchise in the hands of the creative team behind – an admittedly solid – mumblecore gem from two summers back. So maybe there’s hope.
I mean heck, it really can’t get any worse than the third instalment, can it?
This is such an odd trailer, and I think there’s a chance it might actually work. It seems ambitious and different, though it’s possible it will end up being more conventional. I’m intrigued by the possibility, even if there’s a chance it will fail spectacularly.
This looks horrible but it’s so great that Bryce is back, doing movies.
