This is another film that I caught back at TIFF last September that I fear will get lost in the shuffle this spring.
It’s a pretty effective little thriller that evokes thoughts of another well-made thriller from this winter, THE WOMAN IN BLACK. This time out though, it’s less a ghost story and more a tale that preys upon our fears of what’s hiding under the bed. What’s more is that it’s a Spanish creepfest, and in my eyes there are doing the spaniards are doing creepy really well these days.
I’m guessing that it won’t get a very big release, but if it rolls through your town give it a look.
