The good folks at Pixar have already had one hell of a year by delivering the goods on one of the year’s best films. Considering how well the studio tends to do at The Oscars, this year’s Best Animated Feature category should be considered a done deal at this point, right?

Not so fast.

A first for the studio is on the horizon as they prepare to release their second feature this calendar year…this after sitting 2014 out completely.

So, one might think that Pixar’s Oscar chances have just become a little murkier now that they are essentially splitting their own support. However, some who attended D23 last month have reported that Pixar will actually be putting its entire ‘For Your Consideration’ push behind THE GOOD DINOSAUR.

This leaves one to wonder – is it possible that they might be capable of hitting back-to-back home runs in one inning? Or have they grossly miscalculated what they have already achieved with INSIDE OUT?
