That sound you hear is that of me snoring on the morning of an extra-long weekend. I won’t be sleeping in too late mind you – Toronto Blue Jays tickets go on sale this morning, and I am a man of priorities. I think I’m supposed to drive someone to the airport too…

Looking forward to a lot of geekery this weekend. There’s the last major Oscar nominee for me to see at the cinema. There is a PVR full of TCM’s ’31 Days of Oscar’ offerings. And there are two podcasts to be recorded on Sunday! Like I say – a lot of geekery.

How about you folks, any plans? If you’re participating in the Blind Spot Series, you might want to track down your next film…after all, the next post will be going up in a mere eleven days!

In other news, part of me wonders if I’ve become a Criterion precog. See, over the last two nights I watched BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, and then yesterday they announced a Criterion edition of the film will be dropping this May. I’m testing the theory out by watching MEMENTO on loop.
