In case I haven’t mentioned it already, thanks to everyone who’s been leaving me lots of thoughtful comments lately. I’ve always said that my favorite part of writing this space is the discussion that it sparks…and I can’t help but notice that a handful of passionate new followers are spurring the conversation quite nicely (even if I’ve been busier than usual, and thus unable to fan the commenting flames).
It’s noticed and appreciated boys and girls – keep it coming.
Likewise, as Simon and I prepare to post the Film Locker episode that will mark the halfway point of the series, I want to thank everyone who has been tuning in to that too. We think we might only be talking to twelve of you (or less), but we want to thank the passionate few, as lord knows there are plenty of other podcasts you could be spending your time with.

For your listening and reading enjoyment, I give you…
The Franklies turned fifty this week! Give their audio badassery a listen if you aren’t already a dedicated tuner inner.
Not everybody is giving TREE OF LIFE a virtual tongue bath. Case in point: Tom Clift.
If you’re looking for some daily fun, head on over to my neighbour across the Canad-U.S. border. Kano is hosting a daily ‘March Madness’ like bracket poll ranking the women of TV. Already some early match-ups have been tough pickin!
Vance celebrated Independence Day by examining American patriotism in film.
I seem to recall after I gave SUCKER PUNCH a zero star review, some smart-assed bloggers on a site that linked to my post said that I would feel like a right git when The Director’s Cut landed on dvd and answered all lingering doubt. Well according to Bryce, that Director’s Cut isn’t exactly victory from the jaws of defeat.
Ruth is shining the spotlight on bad guys who are…well…bad.
Enjoy!
