Thoughts from your host…

I could swear that I just posted the STAR IS BORN episode last week…where does the time go?

Actually, I know full-well where the time goes, since October has long been an absolutely nutters month for your humble podcast host. There are birthdays to be celebrated, anniversaries feted, and multiple Thanksgiving dinners to attend (and cook!). That’s not even taking into account distractions like baseball playoffs, and the beginning of the NBA season.

If I were smarter, I’d have circled October as the time when this show goes on hiatus – but that’s a big “if”.

Besides, who would ever want to sit out a shift when there is so many amazing things to talk about in theatres? As this episode wraps, I make mention of three or four titles that I might be talking about in two weeks…and in between then and now, I managed to see a big blockbuster that handily could have made for great podcasting material!

Hell, it’s enough to make me think that October is a worthy time to drop episodes every week!! Wait, what was I saying off the top about being so busy?…

Two-Oh-Eight brings a familiar voice back into the fold. By the time the dust settled, I realized just how much I’ve missed both hearing his thoughts and interacting with him on-mic and off. So because I didn’t get a chance to say so on-air, I’m going to take a second here to mention how much I’ve missed Mister James, and how grateful I am for his influence on my podcasting skills…and on me as a human being.

I’m his huckleberry.
