Thoughts from your host…
Welcome back to wherever you are!
Hiatus is over, a new season of shows has begun, and even though it’s been six weeks since the last full episode of this show, it almost feels as though it’s been six years!
So much has gone on…so much has changed…so many people have come and gone. So many movies have been seen – so many differing perspectives swirling around in my brain. Guess it’s high time I turn on my microphone and start the conversation anew, don’t you?
It’s fitting that this “Return Episode” drops on Thanksgiving Day, because I am deeply thankful for the guest featured on this show. Lisa is someone I feel truly lucky to know. She is inspiring in every sense of the word – a soul who continually burns at fourteen on a scale of one-to-ten. She is immensely talented, and a constant reminder that passions are worth pursuing. Whether she knows it or not, she has taught me a lot about what real strength is…and I’m furiously scribbling notes in the hopes of learning more.
Meanwhile, the show itself come back with a bit of a bang.
With Bradley Cooper remaking an iconic film, I thought it an opportune time to dig into an entire series of films for the first time in a few years. We got Judy, we got Babs, and we got GaGa. We have Swanees, Evergreens, and Shallows. We have some amazing performances and some really cheesy sequences…and damned near everything in-between!
So let us begin anew.
Pour yourself a cup of coffee, help yourself to a freshly-baked cookie, and listen to a lively conversation between two friends. Oh, and listen-up for a hit of Lisa’s vocal chops! And perhaps a teeny dose of your humble host’s too.

Lady Gaga has more than two acting roles. You just need to watch more Robert Rodriguez films. 😛
