Thoughts from your host…
The great thing about working with a fellow film-lover is being able to engage in weighty film discussion during the middle of a workday.
Take a seat and enjoy eavesdropping on a typical office chat between myself an my guest!

First things first. I used to love The Lost Boys soundtrack as a kid. I used to listen to it on my walkman all the time. I got it on CD a few years ago and sometimes throw it on in the car.
I really liked Midnight Special. It isn’t without flaws and I know some people have a problem with the final act. The flaws are minor and I really liked the the ending, I don’t see how it could have anywhere else. It is also in keeping with Jeff Nichols’ other films.
I need to see Donnie Darko again. It has been over five years for me. I loved it when I first saw it at the cinema. I have seen the Directors cut and didn’t think it as effective as the theatrical version.
