For a moment or two, I thought I was done with 2011 wrap-ups and ready to look forward into 2012. Not quite yet as it happened, as some locals and I gathered around a table to give 2011 one last once-over.
A few years ago, an idea was launched by James McNally of TO Screen Shots. The idea was the CAST Award, which would name the best films of the year as chosen by a growing number of film bloggers and their ilk based out of Toronto.
This year, to go along with the unveiling of the top ten, seven of us got together to discuss the films that made the top ten.

I like how you chose a picture of four people I hate to embody this panel.
It was either this, or an image from the Deathly Hallows epilogue. I stand by my choice.
Yea, was the Woody Allen the most divisive entry on the list with the panel?
I don’t think a 5/2 split qualifies as divisive. Aside from SHAME, there really was no divide – which is strange for our little motley crew.
What’s that thing in the background? 😉
Michael Fassbender (hey-o!)
Shame! 😉
Excellent discussion y’all!
