Selecting my Toronto Film Fest choices is something I have down to a bit of a science by now, but I still get amazed at how much time and effort it takes. There might be a change or two coming, but after going through the schedule once or twice, I think these will be the film’s I’ll be hoping to get…
I’m betting that I don’t land any more than fifteen out of twenty on my first try.
Others to consider:
– Cassandra’s Dream (doy)
– Run, Fatboy, Run
– Sukiyaki Western Django
– L’interieur
– Ex-Drummer
– Chacun Son Cinema
– L’age des Tenebres
– Poor Boy’s Game
– Reservation Road
– Dialogues: Ingmar Bergman’s THE VIRGIN SPRING with Max Von Sydow
– Eastern Promises
– Dainipponjin
Thanks for the tips. There are two or three dozen more movies that I have my sights on, but there are lots of scheduling conflicts at first glance.
I’m hoping to add some of the ones you mentioned, and a few others, as the fest goes on.
I’m totally diggin’ reading everyone’s plan to see lists – they are all so different! I don’t think we have any of the same picks at all, I’ll be curious to hear how your festivalling goes.
