Things slowed down in a big ol’ hurry this week, leaving me down lower than half of my usual habit.

When considering “why” I’d have to point to night lost to a wicked transit delay, a night at the bar with other movie geeks, an entire night sweating whether I was about to completely destroy American/Canadian relations from a blogger standpoint, and last but not least the return of baseball season.

The quantity was low, but for the most part, the quality was quite high.

Here’s what was on tap…

Screenings
BACK TO THE FUTURE – Worth it to feel the walls of the theatre shake when the lightning hits the clock tower.

Blu-Rays/DVD’s I’ve Never Seen
1941 – Spielberg’s biggest misfire by a country mile. Though apropos of a Spielberg misfire, there were little things I still did love.

Blu-Rays/DVD’s I’ve Watched Before
LAST NIGHT – When asked the difference between American film and Canadian film, Roger Ebert said “It’s the difference between ARMAGEDDON and LAST NIGHT”
ZOMBIELAND – I’m hoping this leads to something, but we’ll see.
NEVER LET ME GO – Simon Columb is still wrong about this film.
