Thoughts From Your Host…

This episode comes with a jovial wrapping. My guest and I aren’t giddy per se, but it will be clear to anyone who listens that we were so excited to be meeting for the first time at the beginning of a new era for America.

It’s strange to feel so jovial. The world is still a huge ball of stress. Pandemic cases are climbing rapidly, people aren’t helping themselves or helping others, and that new era in America seems stuck in dry-dock because the previous captain won’t hand over the keys to the boat.

And yet, jovial it is…perhaps because things are so dark that we can begin to see flickers of light. Maybe…possibly…

We’re just seven weeks from the end of this terrible year, folks. It will be trying, it will come with stresses we wanted to be done with, but we can get through them.

Listen to the optimism and hope contained within this episode…and carry it forward for seven more weeks.
